Eternal Dream After Midnight
When dreams and reality are mixed up. The first photo was taken by me in Second Life , using the SL platform, and I enhanced it further in Photoshop. For the second photo, I asked AI to enhance the background while keeping the original avatar and props. What are your thoughts? I believe many artists find it difficult to accept the growing reality of AI, especially the idea that it may replace certain aspects of their work, influence their creative ideas, or interpret the mood and atmosphere of their art differently. But for many of us, if technology can help us create a better and more beautiful image, is that necessarily a bad thing? After all, even when we take a simple profile photo on our phones, many of us already use built-in AI enhancement tools without giving it much thought. Perhaps the question is no longer simply “Is it AI or is it original?” but rather, “How much of the final image should remain the artist’s own vision?” Food for thought.
